Jānis Neimanis, a judge of the Constitutional Court, represents Latvia in a research project to study the principle of good administration

Today, on 27 April, the Constitutional Court judge Jānis Neimanis went on a mission to Germany, where he will represent Latvia in the research project “The development of a pan-European general principle of good administration by the Council of Europe and its impact on the administrative law of its member states” of the German Research Foundation (Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).

The project aims to bring together legal experts from all the member states of the European Union to produce a scientific research publication (common reference) on the evolution of good administration principle in the administrative law of each EU member state, as well as on the implementation of administrative law principles in pan-European EU bodies. The project is directed by Ulrich Stelkens, a professor at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer.
