The President of the Constitutional Court Elected

Today, on 6 May, the election of the President of the Constitutional Court was held. Aldis Laviņš   was elected President of the Constitutional Court.

Aldis Laviņš came into the office of the Justice of the Constitutional Court on 25 April 2014. Prior to working at the Constitutional Court he was a Supreme Court Judge, but before working at the Supreme Court he was the head of the Administrative Regional Court for a number of years.
