Ilze Skultāne

Judge of the Constitutional Court

Ilze Skultāne was born on 5 September 1954.

In 1978 graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia.

Had in-service training at the courts of Sweden, France and Austria.

From 1984 to 1996 held the position of the Judge of the Bauska District Court, from 1986 was the Chief Judge of the above Court. In 1998 became a lecturer in the University of Latvia.

In 1996 Ilze Skultāne was approved as the Judge of the Constitutional Court. Her term of office expired in 2004 when she was approved as the Senator of Administrative Cases Department of the Supreme Court Senate.
