Ineta Ziemele, the President of the Constitutional Court, receives an award from the Constitutional Court of Armenia
From 19 October to 21 October, Ineta Ziemele, the President of the Constitutional Court, visited Armenia, where she participated in the XXII International Conference of Yerevan. In the framework of the Conference, Ineta Ziemele was honoured with an award by the Armenian Constitutional Court for effective cooperation and significant contribution to the field of constitutional justice.
The award shows appreciation of Ineta Ziemele’s work and recognises her substantial professional contribution to the development of the Armenian Constitutional Court since its establishment in 1995.
Gunārs Kūtris, the former President of the Constitutional Court also received an award. These awards symbolically point to the lasting and close cooperation between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia and the Armenian Constitutional Court.
